Many of you who have been on this road with me for a while know my journey over the last 2 years toward restoration. (If you’re new here, just peruse the archives). So many of my experiences as a first term missionary in Papua New Guinea, and my journey with the Lord through those experiences, have birthed some really beautiful songs.

These words, these songs, are my heart and I’m very excited to share them with you.

The album came out last month and is available on iTunes, CDbaby, and Amazon. You can also freely stream and purchase the album at bandcamp.

If you’re a fellow missionary, please comment here. It’s our desire to bless missionaries with this music for free.

Be blessed, friends~

  1. Thank you so much for your music Erin and sharing your journey in this way. As a fellow missionary navigating a new life with my family overseas I have found your words and your vulnerability so refreshing and a blessing to me. So many missionaries I hear from I hear from 20 years into ministry when the beginnings and the hardships are a distant memories and they can see so clearly the carrying of the Lord. But hearing of the here and the now and the heartache, the pain, the victories etc is so refreshing because it is very much where we are as well. I would love to hear this album!

    • Erin! It is SO refreshing to walk with people who are in the same season as you. I have thrived off of others’ stories and experiences as well, getting that real sense I’m not alone. I would love to share the music with you! Give me your e-mail address here, or through a private message on facebook if you prefer, and we’ll get it to you!

  2. My husband and I are missionaries in Cambodia. My mom was really good friends with your husband’s mom (which is how I found your blog). I always love hearing about what God is doing in other places in the world. Thanks for sharing your story here. Blessings from SE Asia!

  3. Hi Erin! Just found your blog through A Life Overseas. My husband and I are serving in Bosnia-Hercegovina. I would love to hear your album! Thanks for sharing your story of God’s faithfulness!

  4. Erin,
I just found your blog through A Life Overseas, which I follow on twitter. I look forward to finding you when I have my computer in front of me so I can follow your blog. My family and I are serving in Haiti. We are 18 months in, so I too appreciate the freshness of your blog. As you commented earlier, there is beauty in finding kindred spirits who are near the same spot in their journey! Side-note – we are also looking into PBT right now – one day our paths may cross! We would love your album! Prior worship leaders too, from OK, so we love new music. – especially inspired by life in missions! Many blessings to your family!!!

    • Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I will send you an e-mail with the link for the music asap! Where are you from in OK? My husband and I met during college in Tulsa. We love PBT, so please let me know what questions you might have.:) Blessings!
